SHIPPING POLICY:

Please note FedEx Ground Service is not guaranteed to residential homes. In the event that no one is home when FedEx attempts to deliver the package, a notice will be left. FedEx will attempt two other deliveries and if unsuccessful the package will be returned to Creative Gift solutions. Additional shipping charges will apply if we need to resend it.

In the event that the shipping address provided by the customer is incomplete or the recipient has relocated and the gift needs to be re-directed, FedEx Ground charges a service fee for the re-direct. We in turn will charge the customer this fee.  Please ensure your recipient’s address is correct at time of purchase and includes the recipient’s name, street number/name, floor, suite or apt# (& buzzer #), zip code & a phone number.  If you wish to cancel the basket you will be responsible for the processing costs and incurred freight costs.

Hospital Delivery:  Deliveries to hospitals & hotels cannot be guaranteed.  These shipments go to a general receiving department before being routed to the patient’s or guest’s rooms.  Sorry, no refunds will be given if the patient / guest checks out or cannot be located.

Creative Gift Solutions will endeavor to provide you with the best delivery service possible. However, due to circumstances beyond our control, i.e. weather, bridge delays, heavier-than-normal traffic, etc., delivery may be delayed.

Holiday Delivery:  During peak Holiday seasons, delivery times are not guaranteed by FedEx.  Please allow additional time for shipping during the holidays.   This includes Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day & Father’s Day.

RETURNS:

We will make every effort to resolve customer satisfaction issues in a timely manner.  Customized gifts are non-refundable.  We also do not offer refunds, credits or exchanges if a selection does not appeal to one’s taste.

SUBSTITUTIONS:

We make changes to our inventory based on product availability, new trends in the gourmet food industry and seasonal restrictions.  Therefore, we reserve the right to substitute an item with one of equal or greater value.  Quality will never be compromised.

SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES:

BC Liquor Control Regulation

As defined by the BC Liquor Control Act, we are able to ship gift baskets with Alcohol and Spirits, Recipients of these gifts must be 19 or older (ID may be required). Deliveries may not be made to a public place.  Under the Liquor Control act we are considered a “Delivery Service”. Alcoholic beverages are purchased directly from the BC Liquor Store at regular prices.

In order to be able to provide this service, we are allowed to add delivery and handling fees to the cost of any alcoholic products purchased from the BC Liquor Stores.

Outside of B.C. wine may freeze and bottles may break during the colder months – Creative Gift Solutions does not take responsibility for frozen wine outside of B.C. when using FedEx ground services.
